Most of OurBazaar is free and is going to stay that way — protection is not a feature we sell. Pro is the single paid upgrade, PKR 2,500 a month: half the platform and delivery fees, no ads, twenty listings a month instead of five, fifty AI descriptions instead of twenty, a background enhancer for your photos, and a gold ring around your verified tick everywhere you appear.

Pro is bought inside the OurBazaar app, on the same screen you manage it from. There is no web checkout and we will never ask for card details on this site.

What Pro does

Seven changes, spelled out

Each of these is a specific behaviour we can be held to at launch — not a category of benefit.

  1. 01

    An app with no ads in it

    OurBazaar shows sponsored placements in the feed, on listings and between screens. Pro turns all of them off — not fewer ads, none — so the only things competing for your attention are the items.

  2. 02

    20 listings a month instead of 5

    The free plan allows five new listings a month; Pro allows twenty — four times the room, which is the difference between clearing a wardrobe and clearing a room. The count resets on the first of the month and does not carry over, so an unused month is not saved up.

  3. 03

    50 AI descriptions a month instead of 20

    The app drafts a listing description from your photos and specifications. Every account gets twenty of those; Pro gets fifty a month — enough to draft every listing you are allowed to post and still have credits spare for redrafting the ones that matter. Like the listing count, it resets monthly and does not carry over.

  4. 04

    2 boosts a month

    A boost puts one of your listings into Featured This Week — the row buyers see first on the home screen — for seven days. Pro includes two a month. Use them on two items, or on the same item two weeks running: a second boost extends the first rather than starting a new week beside it. Extra boosts cost PKR 500 each and anyone can buy one, Pro or not; what Pro includes is the two. Like the other allowances they reset monthly and do not carry over.

  5. 05

    Half the platform fee, on every sale

    The platform fee comes off every completed sale. Pro halves it — the only perk here that pays back rather than costing, and the one that decides whether the subscription makes sense for you. Sell enough in a month and Pro costs nothing net; sell very little and it will not, which is why the number is on the page rather than in a footnote.

  6. 06

    Half the delivery fee, on every order

    The same 50% off what you pay for courier delivery. Both discounts are shown at checkout against the full price, so you can see what the subscription saved on that specific order rather than taking our word for it once a month.

  7. 07

    A background enhancer for your photos

    Good light and a clean wall are the difference between a listing that sells and one that scrolls past. When you have neither, the enhancer cleans up the background of a photo you already took, so the item is the only thing in the frame.

  8. 08

    A gold ring around your verified tick

    Verification puts a blue tick on your avatar. Pro wraps that tick in a gold ring, and it goes everywhere you do — your profile, your seller card under every listing, the header of a chat, every row of the message list. It buys nothing: a Pro seller is treated exactly like any other in search, at checkout and in a dispute. It is only visible, which for some people is the whole point.

Three things a paid plan will never buy

A subscription that quietly makes the free tier unsafe is the version of this we are not building.

Buyer and seller protection

The payment hold, the 48-hour claim window, dispute handling and refunds are how the marketplace works. They are not features to sell back to you, and a Pro account gets no advantage in a dispute.

Your place in search

Pro does not buy ranking. Paid placement in organic results makes the feed worse for buyers, and a marketplace buyers stop trusting is not worth selling on.

Listing itself

Putting something up for sale is free, and stays free. Five listings a month is a real allowance for the way most people use OurBazaar — a few things at a time — not a teaser that forces a subscription on anyone who wants to sell at all.

What protection actually covers is written out in the Refund Policy and Dispute Policy, and it applies identically to every account.

Can I buy Pro today?
No. There is no way to subscribe in the app and no charge can be made — Pro is still being built. If a message, page or person offers to sell it to you, it is not us.
What will it cost?
PKR 2,500 a month, billed monthly in advance. There is no lock-in and no annual commitment — you cancel whenever you like and keep Pro until the month you have paid for runs out.
Do I need Pro to sell properly?
No. Everything that makes a sale safe — verification, the held payment, the claim window, disputes — is on every account. Pro is convenience: no ads, more AI drafting, better photos, and headroom on listings.
What happens if I do not use all my listings or AI credits in a month?
They are gone. Both allowances reset on the first of the month and neither carries over, on Free or on Pro — a quiet month does not bank you a busy one. We would rather say that plainly than let anyone plan around credits that will not be there.
What happens to listings I already have when the free cap arrives?
Nothing is taken down. The cap is on new listings you create in a month, not on what is already live, so an existing listing keeps running until it sells or you end it.
What happens to the old Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers?
They are retired. They were never sold, and the multi-tier structure — priced around commission discounts — has been replaced by this single plan.
