For business sellers

Sell on OurBazaar as a registered business

Register your shop with your FBR and SECP paperwork, verify one owner, and your whole team can list, fulfil and answer support from the same place. Everything else is unchanged: the same fees, the same held payment, and the same 48-hour claim window that every buyer gets.

What changes

The shop becomes the seller

A business on OurBazaar is not a different marketplace with different rules. It is the same marketplace, with the shop — rather than one person — standing behind the listing.

The shop is the seller, not the member

A listing made for the shop belongs to the shop. Its orders reach the shop’s queue and its support thread belongs to the shop, rather than to whichever colleague happened to upload it.

One identity check, for the whole team

One owner or representative passes the same identity check every OurBazaar seller passes. Every accepted member can then list for the shop without verifying separately — from the day the shop exists, not from the day it is approved.

Real stock, in sizes and colours

A listing can carry a grid of variants — size, colour and a quantity of its own on each line. A line at zero shows as sold out and keeps its order history; adding stock puts the listing back on sale.

A shared fulfilment queue

Everything the shop has sold, whoever listed it, in one queue. Any accepted member can mark an order shipped with the carrier and tracking number — the person who packs the parcel is rarely the person who wrote the listing.

Support threads the whole shop can read

A request raised by one member is readable and answerable by the rest. A colleague on leave no longer takes the only copy of a conversation with them.

Dispatch and returns, set once

Set how many days you dispatch within and how long you accept returns for on the shop itself, and every new listing inherits them — including every row of a bulk import.

Listing for the shop is the part a member does not have to verify separately. Buying, bidding and accepting an offer still require each person's own identity check, exactly as they do for everyone else on the Platform.

Requirements

Pakistani paperwork, and nothing you do not have

What we ask for depends on how your business is registered. The identifiers are the local ones, and we do not ask for a registration your entity type would never have been issued.

Registration identifiers required for each business entity type
Entity typeRegistryRequired
Sole proprietorFBR only — no SECP registrationNTN
Association of persons (AOP)SECP / Registrar of FirmsNTN + CUIN
Private limited companySECPNTN + CUIN

An STRN is optional

A Sales Tax Registration Number is only issued above PKR 10 million in annual taxable supplies. If you have one you can add it; if you do not, that is the ordinary case and it does not hold up your registration.

Documents we ask for

  • Sole proprietor

FBR NTN certificate · the representative’s CNIC · a utility bill under three months old

  • Association of persons (AOP)

FBR NTN certificate · SECP incorporation certificate · partnership deed · the representative’s CNIC

  • Private limited company

FBR NTN certificate · SECP incorporation certificate · the representative’s CNIC

Anything else you want to send — an STRN certificate, a trade licence, a bank statement — can be uploaded too, and none of it is required.

One owner passes an identity check

Company paperwork says a business exists; it does not say who is accountable for where the money lands. So one named representative completes the same CNIC and liveness check every OurBazaar seller completes, in the app, once. After that your colleagues do not each have to.

Your documents stay private

Registration documents go to private storage, separate from anything the Platform serves publicly, and are opened only through links that expire in fifteen minutes. They are used to verify the business and are never shown to buyers. Our Privacy Policy sets out what we keep and for how long.

Onboarding

Four steps, and a person decides the last one

Registration is self-serve; approval is not. A shop can list once we have reviewed the registration it submitted.

  1. 01/Apply

    Tell us about the shop

Fill in the short form at business.ourbazaar.pk/apply — who to talk to, the shop name, the type of business, and whatever tax details you have to hand. You do not need an account to apply, and nothing is created by sending it. A person reads every application and emails you either way.

  2. 02/Register

    Sign in to the console

When we approve the application we create the shop and send you the way in. The console has its own password, separate from your app one — we issue it, and you choose your own the first time you sign in. Then complete the shop’s details: legal name, entity type, NTN, registered address, and a CUIN if you are a company or an AOP. Whoever the shop is approved to becomes its owner and its named representative.

  3. 03/Upload

    Add your registration documents

Upload the paperwork for your entity type as JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF. The documents are stored privately and are never shown to buyers.

  4. 04/Review

    Submit the shop for review

A reviewer at OurBazaar checks what you sent against what you registered, then approves the shop or sends it back with a reason so you can correct it. Either way you are told by email and in the app, so there is nothing to keep checking. You can keep listing while the review is in progress — approval is what lets buyers complete checkout once we start enforcing verification, not what lets you list. The representative must have completed their own identity check in the app before you can submit.

  5. 05/Sell

    List, fulfil, and answer support

Import your catalogue as a CSV whenever you are ready — you do not have to wait for the review. A CSV carries no photographs, so imported products arrive as drafts to finish and publish in the app — nothing is on sale until you do. From then on orders and support come to the shop.

The console

Six screens, on the web

The business console is a web app for the work a phone is bad at: a catalogue upload, a fulfilment queue and a support inbox shared by a team. Listings themselves are still finished and published in the OurBazaar app.

Overview

What needs doing first — orders to fulfil, parcels in transit, open support requests and lines running low on stock — with the last thirty days underneath.

Listings

Bulk catalogue import from a CSV. Download the template, upload the file, watch the job run, and read any failure back by line number.

Orders

The shop’s fulfilment queue, split into what is still to fulfil, shipped, and delivered.

Support

The shop’s shared threads with OurBazaar support: raise a request, read a reply, and pick up a colleague’s conversation.

Verification

Upload registration documents and submit the shop for review. The status of that review is on every screen until it clears.

Settings

Shop name and logo, the support email and phone buyers’ problems should reach, how many days you dispatch within, and how long you accept returns for.

The console lives on one address and the shop is part of the path, so a person who works for two shops signs in once and switches between them.

Get started

Apply first, then send us the paperwork

You need nothing to apply — not an account, not your documents. A person reads every application and emails you either way. Everything after that happens in the console.

Don't have an account yet? Businesses sign in with an ordinary OurBazaar account, so get the app and register there first.

What is the same as any other seller

  • The platform fee and the processing fee, on every completed sale.
  • The buyer's payment held until the claim window closes, then released.
  • The dispute process, and the outcome recorded against whichever side was at fault.
  • The rules on what may be listed, and what happens when a listing breaks them.

The obligations that come with a business account are set out in Section 4A of the Terms of Use.
