Why we built OurBazaar
Pakistan has a rich tradition of bazaars — vibrant, social, community-driven marketplaces where people have been trading for centuries. Yet for most Pakistanis, buying and selling online remained fragmented, risky, and complicated. Scams, unverified sellers, and difficult payment processes made the experience frustrating.
OurBazaar was founded to change that. We combined the warmth and trust of a local bazaar with the reach and convenience of a modern digital platform. We built KYC verification so buyers can trust who they’re buying from. We built escrow payments so sellers get paid and buyers get what they ordered.
